Update 12/31/2020
What a crazy year this has been, Covid-19 has changed the way we meet, the way we shop and the way we eat, it has preyed upon the young and old alike, and sadly some have not won the battle. Churches, including Elk Creek closed, reopened and then closed again, the virus even affected some of our folks as careful as they were. But one thing has remained consistent, Jesus.
God's Son has been present through the Holy Spirit every day, lifting up, encouraging, and Elk Creek has held tightly to that encouragement through virtual gatherings, and prayer. We talked about and made wise decisions concerning our time apart, and while the virus will still be a part of our lives in 2021 so will regular in person services, I'll be making that announcement very soon I pray. Until then, you can join us virtually.
Currently we are streaming on fb live on Sunday mornings @ 11:30 a.m.

Welcome to Elk Creek Baptist Church!

It's really quite simple; Jesus loves you, Jesus died for you, Jesus rose on the third day for you, Jesus is coming back for those who have placed their hope in Him...are you anxiously awaiting His return, or anxious about His coming? I will preach to you from God's word, I will give you my best understanding of what it says, the people of this church will welcome you, and we will pray for you.

Preach the gospel, give application, make no exception, offer no apology. it takes multiple pieces doing individual things under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work...individual pieces welcome, the condition of the piece isn't important, the puzzle is being put together by the Master, only He can find the perfect place for your piece to fit...even when you're sure it can't.
